Septarian is unique in that it is formed as a result of volcanic eruptions, which chemically bonded to deep sea life and deep sea sediment to form a mud ball. formed between 50 and 70 million years ago. Septarian nurtures and grounds the wearer, bringing about feelings of happiness and understanding. This versatile stone is also a speaking stone that is said to improve communication skills of the holder. Septarian is associated with the lower chakras: root, sacral and solar plexus. This stone is composed of Calcite, which makes up the yellow centers and Aragonite, which are the brown lines. The outer grey rock is Limestone.
